I absolutely loved observing and participating in the speaking class I was involved in observing. The class was assigned to give a presentation and many students came unprepared. Rather than becoming frustrated with her students the teacher took this as an opportunity to have the students practice their speaking skills. She asked them what they were doing that weekend and began a classroom discussion.she then went on to take volunteers. Those who participated began their presentation and they were all very intriguing. One student sang and danced , another described the probability of winning the lotto, it was all creative. I was allowed to give my feedback and I felt very comfortable critique the students just because of our classroom experience in critiquing each other and hearing how Ramin went about it. I would ask them first, do you mind if I give you some feedback and I would always mention good points as well as a few of their beautiful mistakes. Observing this class really got me excited to get into the classroom and gave me a real hands on experience.
